1989

I turned 16, bought my first car and got my driver's license in 1989. Doug and I started dating in 1989. Batman with Michael Keaton came out in 1989. Today, I noticed a sign at the convenience store that said you had to be born in or before 1989 to buy cigarettes. That means kids whose diapers I changed are buying cigarettes now. Life is very short.

Your Life in Pictures

Doug has our screensaver set up to be a slide show of all our pictures. I love it. Sometimes I just sit here and watch our life go by on the screen. It reminds me of all the fun we have as a family-camping, carving pumpkins, cutting & decorating trees, climbing trees, playing dress up, birthdays, going to Disneyland and the fun we've had with our friends- camping, trick or treating, cruises, Disneyland, Zion retreats. It is a good life. Sometimes you just need a slideshow to remind you.

Nothing Like a Cruise............

to make your normal life seem even more stressful than normal. Last weekend we went on a cruise to Mexico with some of our best friends. It was amazing to be with adults all weekend; drinking at ridiculous hours of the day; eating dessert with coffee; NOT cooking or cleaning-it was amazing.
Our house is back on the market. One thing I hate in life is trying to sell a house. Feel free to pray that someone comes along and buys this thing quickly-everyday until then will be stressful for me.
I need to go get Jack out of Doug's bald (haha get it, he doesn't have hair....) while he tries to work from home-a new development-should be good, but you can pray for that too.

Ahhhhhh........ if only every day were a day on the Pacific Ocean with good friends.
