Over a Month?

I pulled in to Starbucks this morning on my way to take Jack and Avery to preschool. As soon as we were in the drive thru line Jack turned to Avery and said, "You want milk or juice?" I guess I've been going to Starbucks a lot lately.

The retreat was very nice. We had the bigger cabin which is definitely an upgrade from the Stables. It was a great retreat with lots of structured and spiritual times. I noticed on the way home that it wasn't as restful as I was hoping. Balance is a very hard thing.

On the way home from the retreat Emma was counting, "one Mississippi, two Mississippi...." Loredana chimed in with, "One Mrs. Kelly" (which is Emma's teacher's name). I figured out that she doesn't know what Mississippi is.

I bought a new purse a week or so ago. If you don't carry a purse let me assure you that it is not a simple purchase. There are a lot of factors to consider. The purse I bought is large. The purse I replaced was a wallet on a strap. Size matters a lot in selecting a purse. I usually alternate between too big and too small. I also insist on it zipping, a simple snap will never do. My newest requirement is an outside pocket that securely fastens for my cell phone.

The weather is perfect right now. Cool and breezy. I am loving it! Two weeks until Halloween!

I would have to agree on the purse purchase thing. It took me about 3 months online to find the perfect one. I'm a backpack person (have to have my hand's free to talk) but it can't be too large. It has to be black leather, less then 3 inches thick, no more than 10 inches tall and must have the outside pocket. Ebags.com brought it all together for me.
