Commercial Break
I just love TV on DVD-you know TV shows that you can buy (or rent) on DVD. How great is that? My first experience with this great invention was Friends. My loving husband bought me the first four seasons. It is better than syndication because there are no commercials and you can put them on any time of day, watch as many in a row as you'd like, and rewatch your favorites. My favorite Friends Episode is "The One Where No One Is Ready". Each character has an interesting story line, lots of funny jokes, but I digress.
So, TV on DVD...... we have watched two seasons of 24 and are currently watching "Freaks and Geeks" which was only on for one season. THAT is a shame. High school in the early 80's-there is plenty of good stuff. Doug and I watched 3 episodes last night. And mailed it back today. That's right! Another great invention I am loving is Blockbuster Online. For a small rental fee, you can rent unlimited movies (3 at a time) they are mailed directly to your house. This was invented for people like me-people who, in the past, only rented Children's movies because just the thought of hauling 3 kids around Blockbuster while trying to select the perfect movie gave me a headache. I can go online at my convenience and choose from movies I might not even notice in the store. I can't wait to finish a movie and put it back in the mail! That is very satisfying. Maybe not as satifying as seeing every new release in the theater-that we paid for- but at this stage, we are enjoying our movies this way. Another great thing is they rent TV on DVD!!! My kids will be getting Little Rascals the original TV series in the next couple days. Everyone should sign up! No, I don't own stock.
